What it is
What it does
- COCs are good spreaders and provide enhanced coverage over the plant
- This is important for a lot of pesticides, however, penetration of the cuticle is an issue with COCs
- High surfactant COCs have been developed to resolve the penetration issue
- AQ1561 is the next step with a non-ionic/cationic balanced blend to further increase penetration by combining the spreading effect of oil with the penetration effect of surfactants
Use rates
Post-emergent herbicides: Most labels will call for 1 gallon per 100 gallons of spray solution. However, AQ1561 is built to work at lower rates than normal COCs
Care should be taken when applications are made to crops under hot and dry conditions
